Hello Summer indeed…

We can’t stop smiling over our first full week of summer EVER in the PB &J Kitchen last week.   So excited to be in the thick of it.

The following camps kicked off at The Kitchen:

  • Garden to Table– with the City Schoolyard Garden (at Boys and Girls Club on Cherry Avenue Tuesdays and Thursdays/ Parks and Recreation Mondays and Wednesdays)
  • Brunch Bunch– with Parks and Recreation and Venable Elementary
  • Keystone Produce—CSA (Community Supported Agriculture style program led by the teens) and Cooking Class with Boys and Girls Club Keystone Club

The following recipes made:

  • Waffles with Stovetop Strawberry Sauce
  • Kale and Walnut Pesto Pasta
  • Quick pickles
  • Pickled Beets
  • Vinaigrette dressed garden greens
  • Oregano roasted potatoes and parsley roasted carrots
  • Baked Chicken fingers
  • Zucchini muffins with orange glaze
