Bacon Chicken Ranch Sandwiches

Ingredients
 1 ⅛ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, butterflied
 6 tbsp low-fat buttermilk
 1 tsp hot sauce
 ½ tsp salt
 ½ tsp ground black pepper
For the ranch dressing:
 1 tbsp onion powder
 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
 1 ¼ tsp salt
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp dried dill
 ¼ cup low fat mayonnaise
 ½ cup low fat buttermilk
 ¾ cup 2% plain greek yogurt
Toppings:
 6 slices of low-sodium turkey bacon, cooked in the oven until crisp
 6 slices, cheddar cheese, 2%
 6 whole wheat hamburger buns
Method

Preheat grill to high. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Butterfly chicken.

Combine all Marinade ingredients in a large bowl.

Add chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, place turkey bacon on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and topped with a cooling rack. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

Place marinated chicken on the hot grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Remove from grill and let rest before thinly slicing.

Make ranch dressing: combine all Ranch Dressing ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well to combine.

Combine sliced chicken with 6 Tablespoons of Ranch Dressing in a large bowl and mix well.

Assemble sandwiches:

Place one slice of cheese, 1 slice of bacon, chicken and 1 tablespoon additional ranch dressing inside of each bun.
