It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly nine months since we had smiling faces and yummy smells filling our kitchen. While we hope there is a return to “normal” with our programming, our team has been hard at work ensuring that Charlottesville families are not experiencing hunger during a tumultuous moment in our history. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have our work highlighted in so many forums and hope you learn a bit more about our work and vision for a more equitable future.

When Governor Northam announced all schools across the Commonwealth would close for in person instruction, we quickly rallied along with the Charlottesville City Schools PTOs to provide lunches to students on March 16, 2020.
